On June 22, the First Qianhai SZ-HK Cooperation Forum, which is held by Qianhai Institute for Innovative Research and other 5 organizations, and hosted by Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies and the Qianhai Authority in Shenzhen Wuzhou Guest House. SZ-HK Cooperation and Create the Future is the theme of the forum which reviews the achievements and experience of Hong Kong and Shenzhen cooperation in the past 20 years.

 

Tung Chee-hwa , vice chairman of the national political advisory body  and chairman of the Our Hong Kong Foundation, Qiu Hong, deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Xu Ze, member of the national political advisory body and president of Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies, Zhang Hu, Shenzhen Municipal Committee member and vice mayor, K. C. Chan, director of The Treasury Branch under the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Tian Fu, standing committee of Shenzhen Municipal Committee and director of Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone Management Committee and nearly 500 people from all walks of life attended the opening ceremony of the forum.

 

Professor Edward Chen Kwan-yiu, QIIR President, moderated the session of  SZ-HK Cooperation --Building An International Centre for Science and Technology Innovation, on which eleven guests discussed the prospect of SZ-HK cooperation in the perspective of talent, market, land, communication and culture.
