On September 2, 2015, “Shenzhen New Think Tank Symposium” was held at Municipal Party Committee. This symposium was hosted by Liu Zhongpu, the member of Decision-making Consultation Committee. Ten think tanks attended the symposium with the focus on discussing the development problems and giving suggestions on formulating policies concerning new think tanks in Shenzhen. Professor Edward Chen, QIIR President, attended the symposium and delivered a speech.
