On August 30, 2015, Ms Yan Dou, the deputy director of Financial Innovation Research Center at QIIR, was invited to attend the “The Great Nation, The Great Time—Symposium on China’s Economy”. The symposium was held by China National Radio-The Voice of Economy and co-organized by the Qianhai Authority.

 

After the event, Ms Yan had further communication with other experts from The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC). Basing on the future research direction of financial institute, they focused on the following questions. 1. How could the regional financial innovation be included in the state's overall financial reform framework and processes? 2. How to highlight the advantages and characteristics of financial innovation by strengthen the cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong? 3. How to deal with the relationship between financial innovation and financial stability?
